The Toll So Far

As of this writing, we’re, I guess, back at war with Iran. Why are we bombing Iran? Nobody, not even Trump, has a clue why he did it. They say he has contradictory behavior, so nobody knows his plans, and well, I don't think he knows what he’ll think next in a few minutes. It’s sad that people actually voted for this madness. On one hand, I don’t mind war; I served in Iraq and Afghanistan and didn’t flinch when it came down to the brass knuckles of fighting in those wars. I served, I managed to come home alive, but mentally damaged, and so on. I survived and still survive today. Now that the ten-point plan is essentially null and void, largely due to Israel, who needs to just stand the fuck down, and realize that nobody wants this war, and the fact that Trump and Hegseth try to promote it… Is beyond me. History will paint the obvious picture of what is happening, and we’re seeing it live on social media, at least I am.
For some reason, MAGA finally decided it was enough, and Trump is too mentally demented to grasp that his polls aren’t “great” and an ever-increasing disgust for his ideas on things. We’re now at 0.5% GDP, which isn’t good for anything, when it was expected to grow 2.8%. Does MAGA not care about how his rule has effectively made us like Russia? We’re in economic freefall, and my money manager casually said that the economy is going to go to shit. It is, and day by day, we survive on the barest of expenses. Nothing is going down, prices are increasing, and the man supposed to lead us doesn’t know what he’s doing ever since he became president. He sure knows how to complain, which is a Trumpism thing, and casually brought in by the Republicans. It’s their fault for bringing our GDP to our knees, not the Democrats, whose policies seem to help us, not “destroy the country”. I don’t know, but to me, it feels like I’m screaming at a wall, at people who just won’t objectively look at themselves and realize that they’re part of the problem.
MAGA doesn’t want a solution; they just want to “trigger the libs” more than actually fix the situation, and cheer on Trump as his policies destroy this country.
