On Israel

So prior to the Iran business, and after the October 7, 2023 attack, I largely supported Israel. I thought that they were overall a great nation, and in 2011, I managed to visit Jerusalem and found it mesmerizing and such. I pretty much sided with them on the Holocaust, which is a poignant memory of what not to do to people you disagree with. But things are changing as the war for Iran and Lebanon continue and cannot support a country that is pretty much committing genocide, to which recently the Belarussian president openly brought up the question of the Holocaust and the country’s conduct. The issue is that there is a need to expand, like any country needs to with a burgeoning population, but it seems that to Israel, everybody is in the way, and they should get rights to land that a work of fiction said was allowed for them to conquer.
As it stands, Israel is essentially committed to conducting genocide, and I find it funny that, yeah, okay, cluster weapons are prohibited and are a war crime to commit, but after October 7, 2023, it seems that Netanyahu is in a bit of a legal process right now. It is of the understanding that he needs to be in court and is allowed to stay out of court to pursue his duties as Prime Minister. I don’t know why the judge gave him that flexibility, but it seems that every fart that a Lebanese citizen makes, Israel drops 90 or so bombs to neutralize that one person, no matter if he or she is a combatant or not. And the leveling of Gaza? I don’t see how that justifies the termination of threats against the country
At a time, I sided with Israel and supported their crusade against Hezbollah and Hamas, who, yes, are not the good guys either, but right now I’m not sure what to think on the subject since it seems that evil people on both sides are causing the problems, not the good ones. I’m sure some veterans have had enough with the country, I know I don’t support Israel anymore, and why should I? I made it a mission (and succeeded) in not killing civilians and my friendly forces that I supported. Overall, other than some mistakes and fuckups, I had a decent career. Not perfect at all, but I left with an Honorable Discharge. But what about the soldiers that are fighting in Lebanon? Netanyahu seems determined not to accept the responsibility of his actions and keeps dragging the war our. Sooner or later, they’re going to get tired of waiting for him to stop and do something about it. I’m not suggesting any means, but some people ought to get tired of fighting.
I think that’s a likely outcome, and as much as I have seen Trump fail, the failing is largely in part for him to control Netanyahu (much less his own bowel movements) and get him to stop blowing the world up, so we can get some talks done, because that is hinging on Iran to move things forward, not the US, which by now if you didn’t know, we’re not running shit anymore, Netanyahu is and Trump doesn’t have that ability, or hasn’t made it clear that he has that authority. Probably because Trump supports his master, and so on. But I think future relations are going to be strained because well… Israel is losing and has lost the support from the Holocaust. I’m not suggesting antisemitic attacks, but overall boycott Israel and still support Jewish people, as I do. I have no quarrel with Jewish people, and don’t apply the same dislike of Israel onto them, that wouldn’t be fair. Anyway, something needs to be done because sooner or later somethings going to happen, and Israel will probably pay the price, should somebody want to do something about it.
