At the start of the book, I thought this was going to be just a rant. Regardless of gender, race, or creed, I don't read rants. It's just not my kind of book, especially when it's nonfiction; I read to learn, not to hear someone's opinion (which I can find on social media) about the topic. Anyway, there is some opinion, and frankly, I think the author is justified in his commentary. The good thing is that the book is not a rant, and therefore, it can be read with some enthusiasm. The gist of the book is that it deals with Black Republicans and how they toe the line of Republicanism and what their actions make them out to be. For historical context, the book is set after Trump 1.0, but it reveals history that spans long before Biden's term. I would say that this book is informative, but I won't ding it for being short, though. It's a good read, and I recommend that you at least check this book out. 5 out of 5 stars

A really good book in the GWOT timeline. It details some adventures the author went through and really shows the "Other side" of PMC work, as opposed to military stuff. It's interesting to read from t

The Delectable Negro

I'm "DNFing" this book. I thought about it long and hard, and the subject is that it's not for the weak-stomached, which I apparently have. The last 5% that I read, I had to stop and bear it. The book
