I think while I'm not an active participant in the BDSM community, I do read real authors to get some idea of what to do and what not to do. Overall, I think this book focuses on sex and not enough on the craft. I don't think Shoshanna is a bad author, but I didn't find myself too interested in this book. I have a thing, I guess, against chastity play, and that comes from a more dominant position than a submissive. As someone who has to go to the bathroom a lot for hydration, it's imperative that you hydrate these days, which means going to the bathroom a lot. I don't think it's a bad book. From what I could tell from her Twitter and profile, Shoshanna is a very popular author. But don't take this as a bad book, it's not, just not for me, that's all. 3 out of 5 stars.
