What I like about this series is that it's fresh. It doesn't hang back on the past, but keeps moving forward and keeps it interesting. I know when I write a series, the desire is to keep it moving, keep it fresh for the reader. While I do some of the admin stuff like promotions and unit business, like this series, it keeps the reader engaged and so on. I like to see what I can do with the time on my own book that I'm writing now, but this is a good series, and I will continue to read it, given that the content is good. 5 out of 5 stars.
